Job Purpose
• Perform Electrical and Control Construction activities forEPCOL Project, ensuring technical requirements (e.g., project specifications,data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardizedprocesses and to provide Functional Safety design support with full integrationinto existing facilities.
Key Job Accountabilities:
• Ensure thatthe Contractor’s Electrical, Instrument, Control, Greenfield Facilities(Offshore scope) Construction fabrication and completion complies with theContract requirements including codes and standards. Provide guidance to thecontractor to promote compliance.
• Plan andschedule the E&I Construction deliverables to enable efficient projectexecution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with operational policies, standards of business conduct and project managementsystem.
• Supervisesand ensures that the Contractor’s Construction designs comply with the Contractrequirements including codes and standards. Provide guidance to the contractorto promote compliance.

• Monitor andappraise Contractor’s performance and recommend corrective action to be takenwhere deficiencies are detected; verify effective actions are implemented.
• Verify andparticipate in effective readiness reviews for assigned Topsides and follow up,focussing on HSSE, Quality and Efficient execution.
• Participateto key project workshops and ensure that Instrument, Control, Functional Safetydesign recommendation are correctly implemented, and actions closed before theend of FEED (Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineeringcriticality assessment, etc).
• Supportsthe Engineering interface between the Electrical, Instrument, Control andTelecom of Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) and Pipelineengineering and the following teams: Operations, Drilling, Well Management, theJacket, the pipelines from the topside’s perspective, the Onshore Project Team.

• Providessupport to Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) purchase order with theEPC Contractor and System Vendor in accordance with the roles andresponsibilities given in the contract to ensure safe and seamless integrationof the systems without any disturbance to the existing operating facilities.
• SupportsFabrication Head in monitoring the contractor’s progress on delivery of therequired documents in the Electrical and Instrument Control of Topsides/RiserPlatforms and Onshore (Offshore).
• Coordinatewith Subject Matter Experts with respect the disciplines involved in deliveryof the Electrical, Instrument Control related to Topsides/Riser PlatformsEngineering, and ensures endorsement of Process Technical deviations to Companyspecifications when required.
• Participatepro-actively and lead by example in building a quality culture where all areproactively taking actions to prevent quality issues and to meet qualitycontractual objectives and agreed KPIs.

• Reportprogress, performance, initiatives, issues, and challenges to Fabrication Headand Construction Division Manager as appropriate. Verify and analyse fabrication schedules,progress and quantity curves, manpower needs and outlooks for assignedTopsides, with the support of the Project Controls Team.
• Coordinatesite interfaces between contractors (and subcontractors) with Completions andOperations team members.
• Provideinput to appraisal process for assigned site personnel.
• Participatein lessons learned reviews and provide input to close-out report sections uponcompletion of work.

MinimumRequirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Instrument Engineering orequivalent working experience in a similar roll for a minimum of 15 years on aconstruction site for a client or major EPC contractors.
• 10 years’ experience working in Electrical, Instrument andControls, preferably in a major project environment within the oil and gasindustry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including designstandards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design,construction, and operations.
• 8 years’ experience of working on a fabrication orconstruction site for a client or EPC contractor in a similar role.
• 2 to 5 years’ experience working in Indonesia is preferred,5 years’ working in Asian countries is required.
