Technical Instructor
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Instructs all aspects of electrical and hydraulic systems associated with Oceaneering remotely operated vehicles, complex subsea tooling, surface and subsea workover systems.
-Mentors and assess students’ ability to troubleshoot ROV control and associated systems.
-Instructs theory of troubleshooting on fiber-optic components and test equipment.
-Instructs theory of troubleshooting on hydraulic systems.
-Instructs proper operation and maintenance of analytical test equipment.
-Instructs basic ROV piloting to include the use of sub-sea navigational equipment.
-Establishes and maintains parts and supplies associated with all classrooms and hands on applications associated with instruction and curriculum development.
-Troubleshoot and repair training aids and equipment.
-Assists in the development and maintains course curriculum.
-Travel to overseas training facilities to provide instruction.
