JOB Description
◆ Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Non-Production Procurement Engineer located in BATAM SENSOR Plant.
◆ As a Non-Production Procurement Engineer, you are responsible to ensure the best Quality, Cost and Delivery Conditions to support the main plants daily operations.
Aligned with the Corporate Strategy, you are in charge to implement the best terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve on a sustainable basis. The targets allocated to the team and the Purchasing Department (Yearly Productivities, Suppliers Quality & Deliveries performances):
◆ Be the representative/voice for Schneider Electric to the suppliers serving your plants.
◆ Support all operational non-production needs at your responsible plants.
◆ An expert on drafting and negotiating complex non-production agreements, including performance clauses, metrics, critical commercial terms and conditions.
◆ An expert on spend analysis, requirements documentation, quotations, bid and price analysis, negotiation and contract award, and supplier performance management, leveraging purchasing tools and process.
◆ Drive execution excellence and consistency by understanding multiple business needs and translating that to supply that meet Schneider’s need.
◆ Lead business risk evaluations by main category and devise a strategy to remove risk.
◆ Be the first escalation level for supplier crisis management.
