- Ensures work is in conformance with plans, specifications, schedules, and cost control estimates.
- Responsibility to achieve mechanical completion of Mechanical and HVAC discipline scope.
- Ensures that subcontractors are complying with contract specifications and work procedures and material is being utilized to ensure optimum efficiency, and that work is being performed in conformance with specified quality requirements.
- Interfaces with Quality and Engineering Teams to insure all work scopes are in compliance with project requirements / specifications, any corrections, additions, re-work identified by Quality or Engineering is performed accordingly. Support MoC process. Support issue resolution. Assist in preparing punch list / carry over work packs as required.
- Maintains effective schedule reporting control functions of the project and ensures adherence to these practices, including verification and validation of Mechanical and HVAC discipline progress.

- Establish daily contact with Fabrication Contractor supervision and form effective relationships.
- Develop excellent working relationships with Company and Contractors teams assisting Fabrication Contractor in all his endeavours and objectives observing quality codes and standards.
- Maintain high standards of attitude and behaviour throughout the site and offsite acting as a role model / mentor for younger members of staff and local employees.
- Monitor and reports work activities and manpower requirements to meet established completion dates, monitors craft personnel levels, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules. Understand KPI targets and monitor progress and have a perspective towards the contractor focus on meeting targets.
- Prepare progress based forecasts and provide planning and scheduling input to re-planning efforts, as required.
- Prepares and issues weekly / monthly status reports as required.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience of working in the Oil & Gas industry.
- 15 years of relevant experience as Mechanical & HVAC specialist in the oil and gas industry.
- Detailed Knowledge in Mechanical international Codes and Standards and Good Engineering Practices applicable to the O&G Offshore facilities.
- Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
- A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent communication / written skills and ability to work with different disciplines.
