Shipping Officer
As the Shipping Officer you will:
- Receives Shipping orders and prepare the Shipping document such as Shipping Invoice and Packing List, Delivery Order, Delivery Ticket, etc.
- Prepare the shipping label, tagging, label and shipping mark as per Customer requirement.
- Identify the Country of Origin and Harmonized System code for Part Number to be ship.
- Regularly request the Harmonized System code to the Caterpillar classification team for all Part Numbers of Inventory items and work with Item Master to update into systems (Syteline).
- Receives instruction from the Purchasing team and organizes for transportation of purchased goods.
- Liaise with Freight Forwarder including booking as per each mode of transportation needs.
- Posting the Customer Order Shipping transactions for KIDG (SPM Oil and Gas Batam) & KSIN (SPM Oil and Gas Singapore) sites are maintained.
- Posting Purchase Order receiving or Good Receipt transactions for the KSIN (SPM Oil and Gas Singapore) site.
- Receive and check the Freight Bill Invoice against Quotation and submit to Purchasing for them to issue the Purchase Order and circulate the Purchase Order to each Freight Forwarder.
- Update daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of inbound and outbound shipment activity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Compliance with the company Policies, Procedures, Norms, Directories along with related & supporting documents.
- Highlighting conflicts between these requirements to their leaders, managers or local Environment Health and Safety representative as soon as identified.
- Responsible to take personal responsibility for Environment Health and Safety by focusing on own behavior in all times required.
- Understand and Follow Risk Assessment prior work.

The successful candidate must bring:
- Minimum Senior High School with 3 years’ experience in same role in similar industry.
- Microsoft Office & ERP System (Syteline or SAP).
- Familiar with warehouse & shipping management system.
- Basic knowledge of customs and local government regulations.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Top candidates will also bring:
- Knowledge of Shipping/Logistics, export and import process.
- Familiar with Environment Health and Safety Training matrix.
- Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
- This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.

- Work location: Jl.Bukit Girang TT II, Batu Ampar, Batam 29444 .
- You will work both in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment.
- Domestic relocation is not available for this position.
