Senior Staff Engineer Test Handler
The position is responsible for the test process development, covering package testability, handling design on machine & conversion, and overall process integration into the final test.
In your new role you will:
• The candidate must be able to access the package testability through identify which handling solution will best fit for Final Test to deliver higher productivity and quality (Example – technical assessment on handling approach with stable contact and thermal).
• He/she must have high level of mechanical design on conversion kit, contactor design and integration and test interface tool up.
• Expert knowledge on test equipment selection, evaluation & qualification with feasibility study and simulation. (Machine knowledge on gravity feed, Pick Place & turret system are required)
• He/She must be able to articulate ideas to realisation with internal & external stakeholders.
• The candidate must possess experience to improve equipment stability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Meantime between Assist (MTBA), and to provide guidance for equipment Engineering team to ensure line stability.
• The candidate is required to implement new projects related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Advanced Automation.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
• Bachelor/Master's Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electronic / Electrical Engineering with at least > 12 years of working experience on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) in the semiconductor sector.
• Candidates from related Equipment manufacturing are welcome, preferably with hands-on experience in Gravity feed and Pick & Place handling (Rasco, Delta matrix, Advantest).
• Strong drive in root cause identification and analysis; strong problem-solving skills.
• Having a good understanding of test inline processes with experience in yield improvement or being responsible for overall electrical/mechanical yield management is desirable.

• Demonstrate a strong quality mindset on equipment stability.
• Knowledgeable in Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, FMEA, and Project Management skill is a strong advantage.
• Possess proven analytical skills and statistics sensitivity.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills to work with subject-matter stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in English with good communication skills.
