• Responsibility to achieve mechanical completion of Piping disciplinescope.

• Ensures that Contractor iscomplying with contract specifications and work procedures and material isbeing utilized to ensure optimum efficiency, and that work is being performedin conformance with specified quality requirements.
• Full understanding and the challenges with large bore valves andfollow-up and supervise installation with relation to the Piping Constructiondiscipline.
• Interfaces with Quality and Engineering Teams to ensure all work scopesare following project requirements / specifications, any corrections,additions, re-work identified by Quality or Engineering is performedaccordingly.
• Support MOC process. Support issue resolution. Assist in preparing punchlist / carry over work packs as required. Maintainseffective schedule reporting control functions of the project and ensuresadherence to these practices, including verification and validation ofMechanical and HVAC discipline progress.
• Establish daily contact with Fabrication Contractor supervision and formeffective relationships.
• Develop excellent working relationships with Company and Contractorsteams assisting Fabrication Contractor in all his endeavours and objectivesobserving quality codes and standards.
• Maintain high standards of attitude and behaviour throughout the siteand offsite acting as a role model / mentor for younger members of staff andlocal employees.
• Monitor and reports work activities and manpower requirements to meetestablished completion dates, monitors craft personnel levels, material, andequipment needed to meet schedules. Understand KPI targets and monitor progressand have a perspective towards the contractor focus on meeting targets.
