Manager Human Resources I

Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Recruits, interviews, hires and trains new staff in the department.
    Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
    Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
    Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with the company policy.
    Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.

Recruitment:

    Manage the recruitment and selection process for all personnel .
    Creating and revising job descriptions.
    Determine salaries for selected candidates based on the salary scales.
    Apply for work permit, visa and necessary documents for expatriates and clients.
    Overseeing exit interviews.

Compensation and Benefit:

  • Coordinate and administer all changes in the Human Resources affairs, salary/wage for all levels.
  • To check, verify data of payment on Income Tax, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, BPJS Kesehatan, Labour Union member’s monthly contribution and Employees salary.
  • To issue increment salary letter to staff & manager level.
  • To perform regular market survey for good employee retention purpose.
  • Responsible for employee health, medical scheme program and accident reporting to related government body.
  • Responsible for direct employee and subcontractor attendance, database and payroll administration.
  • Study and interpreting legislation, agreements, wage payment systems, and dispute settlement procedures.
  • Implementing and revising a company’s compensation program.
  • To verify and recommend the Personal Loan application from employees.
  • Performing benefits administration.

Employee and Industrial Relations:

  • Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures; performance review and disciplinary matters.
  • Undertake negotiations on terms and conditions of employment, examining and resolving disputes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the community, government and environmental groups.
  • Provide report to the management (disciplinary monitoring, employee turnover, training activities, mutation/promotion, medical insurance claims, general purchasing recapitulation, etc).
  • Prepare company regulation and working agreement for all employees.
  • Provide counselling for all employees.
  • To discuss with Dept. Managers all important issues in Human Resources for all employees.
  • Maintain harmonious and professional relation with employee representatives, Labour Union and other Profab Committees.
  • Direct communication with government offices to settle company’s matters (Manpower Office, Batam Authority (Otorita Batam), Immigration Office and Batam Mayor Office).
  • Responsible for developing program for community & corporate social responsibility issues.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
  • To handle any kinds of Industrial Relations Disputes.
  • Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures.
  • Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counselling.

Training:

  • Responsible for employee Training and Development program such as establish companywide training plan, training evaluation and maintaining training documentation.

QHSE:

  • Develop, implement and review strategies and procedures to promote safe work practices, environmental and occupational health and safety plans.
  • Responsible for ISO implementations within the department.
  • Responsible as Internal Auditor for ISO and member of Environment Committee.

Other:

  • Maintaining department record.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems, to plan, appraise and improve individual and team performance.
  • Plan, administer, supervise and coordinate the overall activities of HR staffs.
  • Become approver for HUB and Concur system.
  • To provide the top management of Profab with data and analysis on Manpower issues which are related with production or project completion progressAny other duties related to human resources duties, which may from time to time be allocated by the Country HR Manager and General Manager.
