Resource Industries IT currently has an opening for a Business Process Analyst, located in the Batam, Indonesia, supporting Resource Industries Operations (RIOP). In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, integrate and support IT infrastructure solutions to solve business problems, working as an IT Factory Integration team member. You will also work closely with global Infrastructure Services and Information Security teams.
As the Business Process Analyst , you may be expected to:
- Working directly on technical problem identification and resolution, including weekend support functions.
- Working independently or as part of a team on complex infrastructure technology components that may be used by one or more applications or systems.
- Working independently or as part of a team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components.
- Gathering local business requirements for IT projects; connecting with US and Asia Pacific teams to determine technical requirements and coordinate project management.
- Participating in integrated testing and acceptance of infrastructure components.
- Working with vendors on the integration of purchased systems and/or infrastructure solutions.
- Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.

The successful candidate must bring (basic requirements):
- Good proficiency in English.
- Computer science or manufacturing degree.
- Minimum of 5 (five) years IT factory-facing or manufacturing environment experience.
- Knowledge and experience with IT infrastructure, manufacturing applications (such as PINpoint , SAP or Freedom eLOG) and IT security & controls.
- Availability to work off-shift when needed for systems changes or be on a call rotation to provide support should any systems be down on an evening or weekends.
Top candidates will also bring:
- Understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL based support processes (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem management).
- Strong communication skills, be an innovative thinker, have strong problem-solving skills, work well in a team environment, and possess strong customer relationship and customer support skills.
- Individuals should demonstrate innovative qualities to explore new technologies, which improve the efficiency of the factory environment.

- Job requires extensive active movement throughout plant including but not limited to climbing stairs and steps, lifting of devices and pushing and pulling of equipment
