Mechanical & HVAC Construction Specialist
Job Purpose
◆ Ensure all Static / Rotating Mechanical & HVAC Equipmentis installed in accordance with project and manufacturers requirements.
Key Job Accountabilities:
◆ SupportsTopsides Delivery Lead whom are responsible for the timely delivery of a groupof Topsides inclusive of structural fabrication and assembly, pipingfabrication and installation. Equipment placement and mechanical outfitting, Electrical and Instrumentation installation, testing of piping systems /E&I systems, pre-commissioning of equipment (minimum).
◆ Understandthe requirements of the contract’s Mechanical & HVAC Equipment installationScope Of Works inclusive of all aspects of Mechanical installation, outfittingand hook-up of vendor packaged equipment skids. Alignment of all rotatingequipment, conduct limited pre-commission activities for equipment; securingand preserving mechanical equipment required for transit. Schedule and lookahead plans for mechanical and HVAC disciplines. Ensures work is in conformancewith plans, specifications, schedules, and cost control estimates.

◆ Responsibilityto achieve mechanical completion of Mechanical and HVAC discipline scope.
◆ Ensuresthat subcontractors are complying with contract specifications and workprocedures and material is being utilized to ensure optimum efficiency, andthat work is being performed in conformance with specified qualityrequirements.
◆ Interfaceswith Quality and Engineering Teams to insure all work scopes are in compliancewith project requirements / specifications, any corrections, additions, re-workidentified by Quality or Engineering is performed accordingly. Support MoC process. Support issueresolution. Assist in preparing punch list / carry over work packs as required.
◆ Maintainseffective schedule reporting control functions of the project and ensuresadherence to these practices, including verification and validation ofMechanical and HVAC discipline progress.

◆ Establishdaily contact with Fabrication Contractor supervision and form effectiverelationships.
◆ Developexcellent working relationships with Company and Contractors teams assistingFabrication Contractor in all his endeavours and objectives observing qualitycodes and standards.
◆ Maintainhigh standards of attitude and behaviour throughout the site and offsite actingas a role model / mentor for younger members of staff and local employees.
◆ Monitor andreports work activities and manpower requirements to meet establishedcompletion dates, monitors craft personnel levels, material, and equipmentneeded to meet schedules. Understand KPI targets and monitor progress and havea perspective towards the contractor focus on meeting targets.
◆ Prepareprogress based forecasts and provide planning and scheduling input tore-planning efforts, as required.
◆ Preparesand issues weekly / monthly status reports as required.

Minimum Requirements:
◆ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalentexperience of working in the Oil & Gas industry.
◆ 15 years of relevant experience as Mechanical & HVACspecialist in the oil and gas industry.
◆ Detailed Knowledge in Mechanical international Codes andStandards and Good Engineering Practices applicable to the O&G Offshorefacilities.
◆ Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with peoplefrom a variety of cultural backgrounds.
◆ A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
◆ Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant softwareapplications.
◆ Excellent communication / written skills and ability to workwith different disciplines.
