Equipment Engineering Manager
Job requisition:
- Responsible to manage Corrective Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance and Continuous Improvement for Vision Care & Surgical Manufacturing Equipment. Consistently drive productivity, sustaining machine availability/efficiency and deliver good product quality. Ensure to meet budgeted department expenses and comply with ISO and FDA regulatory standards.
- Implement effective Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure manufacturing equipment in compliance state and able to achieve utilization target.
- Implement effective CAPA to reduce Non Conformance reoccurrence related to equipment.
- Implement actions to achieve corporate financial targets on maintenance expenses and CIP savings.
- Accelerate breakthrough innovation and deliver site-driven key capital expenditure projects.
- Accountable for HSE implementation and performance in respective departments. Providing leadership in respective area and responsible for other HSE activities that are assigned by Management.
- Deliver other assigned tasks deemed necessary by his/her superior or corporate leadership team.
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
- Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff.
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Perform evaluation of employees to ensure quality of work.
